Chasing a waterfall in Italy

Here in South-Tyrol, Italy more specifically in Luttach, there is a waterfall hidden behind the trees further up the mountain and off the road. I wanted to take some pictures of that waterfall in spring because I already had the same waterfall but in the winter and partly frozen.

I went on the trip with my dad, we started and the sun was shining and the weather was great. Gave him my GoPro and he filmed a bit. As you can see in the pictures, I don’t mind risking to get dirty or fall into the water to get a great picture. We arrived at the waterfall and it was beautiful, I like it way better when its not frozen, the waterfall looks ten times bigger and stronger. The situation then completely switched when we got back on the road.

On the way to the waterfall, we had great spring weather and we peacefully made our way, The way back was way less peaceful. Going back, the weather completely switched. Strong, cold wind, the temperature dropped and behind the mountains huge storm clouds showed up. We had to rush back to the hotel and just barely escaped a big storm, getting only a little bit wet.

The next day we woke up and had 20cm fresh snow so great for skiing.
